Jonny Crocker
THE WATER INSTITUTE AT UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA

Jonny Crocker is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Water Institute at UNC. He is particularly interested in evaluating environmental health behavior interventions in low-resource settings and WaSH in less developed countries. Jonny Crocker has worked in over a dozen developing countries across the globe conducting research and contributing to water, sanitation, and hygiene projects. Jonny holds a BS and MS in environmental engineering from Tufts University and UNC respectively. His interest in international work began with Engineers Without Borders at Tufts, where he began his work in water and sanitation in rural Tibet. While at UNC he has worked with governments and NGOs to evaluate and improve water and sanitation programs in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. After his PhD, he hopes to continue evaluating WaSH programs in partnership with governments and NGOs to better serve those that need it most.
