John Sauer

John Sauer is Senior Technical Advisor for PSI’s water, sanitation, and hygiene programs. He supports PSI’s efforts to launch and scale up its WASH programs globally, capture and share best practices, as well as provide technical guidance to ensure high quality and impact-focused WASH programs.

John has over 15 years of program implementation, advocacy, and strategy development experience in the WASH sector. Before joining PSI John worked for Water For People, Water Advocates, and Action Against Hunger with a recent focus on sanitation as a business in rural and urban contexts. John graduated from Fordham University in 1992 and holds a Master's degree in International and Intercultural Management from the School for International Training in Brattleboro, VT. John resides in Washington DC.
