Elizabeth Jordan

Dr. Elizabeth Jordan is a WASH Advisor in USAID’s Bureau for Global Health where her responsibilities include supporting missions on WASH-related strategic planning and project design. She also works to build capacity of USAID staff and manages USAID’s strategic partnership with Rotary International. At USAID, Elizabeth focuses on efforts to improve USAID’s monitoring and evaluation for WASH programs. Prior to joining USAID, Elizabeth worked for Innovations for Poverty Action in western Kenya managing the field implementation of a randomized control trial designed to study of the effects of water, sanitation, hygiene and nutrition interventions on child growth.  Elizabeth has a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder, with an emphasis in civil systems and engineering in developing communities. She also has B.S. and M.S. degrees in engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
