Drew is a PhD candidate in Health Policy with an emphasis in Population Health Economics at the University of California, Berkeley, School of Public Health. His research is related to the evaluation of programs that target health and development outcomes in low- and middle-income country settings. His interests include health behavior, social marketing, child growth, early childhood development, WASH, rural transport infrastructure, HIV/AIDS, land tenure, and the quality of primary health facilities in rural and resource poor settings. Before his PhD, Drew was an Evaluation Specialist at the International Initiative for Impact Evaluation (3ie). He has a BA in International Political Economy from the University of Puget Sound, and a MA in International Development from American University.
