Azucena Serrano Nataren

Azucena Serrano Nataren graduated as a Civil Engineer from the National Autonomous University of Honduras in the Sula Valley. She has four  years of experience in the water and sanitation sector as a Technical Advisor on Financial Sustainability of Drinking Water Projects and a Project Supervisor Engineer. Azucena’s mission is to bring water to all families in rural Honduras. She specializes in strategic financing models for WASH systems and has contributed to the development of manuals for costing tools as a contribution to the national WASH platform Para Todos, Por Siempre in Honduras. Together with IRC, she carried out a study of “Municipal public financing for direct support to rural water and sanitation services in Honduras.”
