Polaris Electro-Optics Inc. is a CU Boulder spinout that uses a ferroelectric nematic liquid crystal platform (FenGlass™) to deliver the highest-speed, most energy-efficient integrated photonics products for applications in communications and computing. Polaris Electro-Optics Inc. was co-founded by Noel Clark, professor of distinction in physics at CU Boulder, Dave Walba , professor emeritus of chemistry and biochemistry at CU Boulder, Joe MacLennan , lecturer in physics at CU Boulder and Matthew Glaser , lecturer in physics at CU Boulder, together with Cory Pecinovsky , a PhD alum of chemistry and the Soft Materials Research Center at CU Boulder and CTO of Polaris, and Jason Sickler .
