3.4—Chemical Platform for Stable, High-Purity Cannabinoid Complexes
We have developed a modular chemical platform for the synthesis and purification of cannabinoid acids, enabling the isolation of high-purity solid products through selective precipitation and metal coordination. The method is efficient, scalable and compatible with a range of cannabinoids, including CBDA and CBGA. While the primary outcome is the production of clean, well-characterized acids, the process also supports the formation of stable metal-cannabinoid complexes with potential for therapeutic development. This platform offers a foundation for both standard cannabinoid acid manufacturing and the exploration of novel composition-of-matter opportunities.
