Flari Tech clinches $400,000 DARPA MTO Pitch Day award
CU Boulder startup Flari Tech was selected as a winner in DARPA’s Spark Tank competition, securing $400,000 in funding and direct engagement opportunities with program managers as it advances its next-generation technology.

Flari emerged through the Embark Deep Tech Startup Creator, which awards funding and pairs experienced entrepreneurs with high-potential technologies from CU Boulder. Eva Yao (CEO) met Jun Ye (Physics, JILA) and Qizhong Liang (JILA) for a lab tour at JILA through the program. The company hopes to use Nobel Prize-winning frequency comb technology to detect diseases detectable in breath.
