Fall Gateway- Our two-day academic intensive program that prepares students for the demands of CU Boulder.

Guardian Scholars Program- A program that provides additional services and opportunities for students who have aged out of foster care or kinship care.

Core Services & Opportunities

Individualized Academic, Career, and Personal Advising & Support  - We provide access to a caring team of professional staff, graduate mentors, and peer mentors who provide academic, personal, and social support. 

Tutoring & Academic Skill Development  - Trained peer tutors provide free tutoring, and professional Academic Skills Specialists aid students in developing effective learning strategies. 

Assistance with Financial Aid and Financial Literacy  - We assist in navigating educational funding by offering support in completing the FAFSA, scholarship searches, and achieving financial literacy. 

Career and Graduate School Preparation  - We prepare students for successful entry into a career or graduate school by identifying and increasing student strengths.

Courses That Fulfill Graduation Requirements  - TRiO SSS students have the opportunity to enroll in small courses in math, chemistry, and our award-winning writing program, which has been nationally recognized for its excellence.

Civic Engagement, Cultural and Community Building Events  - We help students to develop 21st-century leadership skills while they contribute to and meaningfully interact with diverse local communities.
