- The campus is offering a number of camps this summer for children and youth, including a free leadership camp for those with strong ties to Chicano/Latino communities. Application deadline is May 5.
- A symbol of the Conference on World Affairs' international scope, each year, student-volunteers raise a host of international flags along Norlin Quad for each country represented among the CWA speakers.
- The spring 2018 University of Colorado Student Government elections take place this week. Voting began at 8 a.m. on April 9 via BuffConnect, and closes at 8 p.m. on April 12.

- A recent campus workshop laid out for attendees strategies for keeping children safe from sexual abuse, some of the signs of sexually abused children and how to recognize patterns of abusers and report them.
- Stephanie "Tessie" Mernick is willing to take a punch to beat cancer. To do that, the CU Boulder graduate student is learning to box to raise money and awareness.
- Children ages 6–9 are invited to discover the fun of the Bard through pool-noodle fights, Elizabethan costumes, period insults, Renaissance songs and lively scene work.
