- The University of Colorado Board of Regents approved a $14.3 million restoration of CU Boulder’s Old Main building, including structural, site and sustainability upgrades.

- Buff pride filled the air at the 94th Alumni Awards event, the official kick off of Homecoming festivities and one of the university's longest standing traditions. A variety of awards honor some of CU Boulder’s best and brightest alumni, faculty, student and staff members.
- The Research & Innovation Seed Grant program—designed to stimulate new areas of research, scholarship and creativity on the CU Boulder campus—is accepting proposals through Jan. 22.
- CU Boulder’s chapter of the American Indian Science and Engineering Society participated in the 2023 First Nations Launch as the “CU Trailblazers,” sweeping first place in all their categories and a grand prize trip to the Kennedy Space Center.
