- On May 19, new employees in their first 12 to 18 months of employment are invited to attend CU Discover: Making Excellence Inclusive to learn more about the university's Inclusive Excellence initiative.
- The Department of Human Resources offers seminars and workshops year-round for employees to expand their knowledge, learn new skills or enhance overall wellbeing. If you're on campus this summer, be sure to join.
- As part of the year-long onboarding program for new employees, this month's CU Discover session will feature subject matter experts on what it means to "Be Boulder" and how the brand messaging platform can work for different campus groups.
- On April 24, join Michael Roseberry, director of ADA Compliance in the Office of Institutional Equity and Compliance, for this month's brown-bag session on the subject of disability access for events.
- Chef Jehangir Mehta, a former "Iron Chef America" contestant and runner up for "The Next Iron Chef," will be performing two cooking demonstrations on campus for students April 11 and 12.
- April 6 marks the final event in the Engaged Scientist Series. "Science is Culture: Understanding Power & Privilege in Community-based Research" will feature a public lecture followed by a workshop for graduate students and postdoctoral scholars.
- At the March 27 Ethics and Compliance Brown Bag session, Mark Meaney will discuss one of seven essential components of any ethics and compliance program: internal monitoring.
- On March 23, join the Understanding Broader Impacts Workshop to learn about resources for collaboration and implementation and developing broader impacts components that will complement and enhance your research program.
- The Feb. 27 Ethics and Compliance Brown Bag event will feature a presentation by John Meister, Jill Sieben-Schneider and Joe Andenmatten from Disability Services on the subject of graduate student accommodations.
- Registration is now open for the February and March CU Discover sessions. New employees are invited to bring a brown-bag lunch and join subject matter experts as part of the year-long onboarding program.
