Nash Albrecht
- (They/Them/Theirs)
- Assistant Director - Assessment & Program Review
My professional background is rooted in understanding the impact of power, privilege and oppression with regard to leadership development and community engagement. This work experience has led me to a deeper commitment to and passion for justice/equity/diversity/inclusion/belonging (JEDI-B) in all aspects of my life whether it be personally, professionally or socially. I've done this through my work at Florida State University in leadership and identity development, physically adaptive systems for folks with disabilities on challenge courses and in the outdoors at Bradford Woods, and am currently advocating for student voices through assessment and evaluation analysis.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my dog Potato, playing flag football and volleyball, skiing and snowboarding and following women’s sports. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Leadership Studies from Texas A&M University (‘13), and a Master of Education degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Texas State University (‘15). I am currently working towards my doctorate in education leadership at West Texas A&M University. Gig’em Aggies, Eat’em up Cats, On On Buffaloes and ‘Sko Buffs!
