SA Communication & Marketing Student Graphic Design Assistant
The Student Affairs Communication Team provides organization and support to Student Affairs departments as they communicate with students, faculty & staff, parents & families, and community members. As a Student Affairs Communication Graphic Design Assistant, you will have the opportunity to gain practical communication skills, to work in collaborative team environment, and to develop creative solutions for communication projects.

- SA Level: SA II
- Pay Rate: $15.30/hour
- Schedule: 8-15 hours/week
Must be enrolled for a minimum of 6 credit hours
Work Study Welcomed, but not required - Application Deadline: OPEN until filled
Work Schedule
- 8-15 hours per week. A consistent work schedule will be established based on available hours Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Pre-approved flex time may be provided for special projects and academic needs.
Required Skills
- Must be a current CU Boulder student in good academic and judicial standing
- Ability to work with diverse groups of individuals
- Must take initiative, follow instructions, be flexible, open to feedback and punctual
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Word
- Responsibilities include graphic design for a variety of mediums including print, web and digital
- Creative thinking and design skills using good judgment to communicate the desired message
- Good at prioritizing, organization and time management to meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented for checking accuracy and proofreading
- Receptive to critique and direction; Adapts designs according to the feedback and decisions of the graphic designer, marketing manager and clients
- Reliable, on time and excellent attendance
- Professional work attitude and appropriate work attire for your environment
- Outgoing, friendly, enthusiastic, creative
Preferred Skills
- Social media
- Student of the TAM or CMCI programs, marketing major or related field
