ALTECDid you know that learning another language can increase your memory plasticity?  Multilingual individuals enjoy the benefit of improved memory processing along with a multitude of other intellectual rewards.   ALTEC offers evening language classes (non-credit) with a 50% discount for staff and other CU affiliates.

Spring 2020 classes will begin on January 27th. Visit the ALTEC site today for information on classes in Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, and Thai offered on campus.  Then subscribe to the mailing list to receive information about class schedules and registration.

ALTEC also curates a world language resource collection that is available to staff free of charge. Stop by the HIVE in Hellems 159 to browse comics in different languages or borrow DVDs and other learning materials.
