Our department collaborates with the School of Education to offer a teaching licensure in Secondary Spanish. This program is open to both undergraduates and post-baccalaurate candidates.

One of the required courses for the Licensure is SPAN 4650, Methods of Teaching Spanish.  It is a 3-credit course offered each spring.

The Elizabeth Brower Fund offers funding to Secondary Spanish Teaching Licensure candidates, as well as graduate students, and faculty, for activities related to improving Spanish language teaching.

Anne Becher (M.A. in Hispanic Linguistics, CU-Boulder, 1992) is the Advisor for the Secondary Spanish Teaching Licensure program.
