Bio: Rob is an evolutionary ecologist who studies polyploidy and speciation in the creosote bush (Larrea tridenata, Zygophyllaceae). He completed his PhD at the University of Rochester with Justin Ramsey, and afterwards, was a Program of Excellence Postdoctoral Fellow in Population Biology with Diana Pilson at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Here at CU, he continued his research on polyploidy and speciation and collaborated with Nolan Kane to develop genomic tools for using creosote in forensics!
