Afterschool Club: FIRST LEGO League
Science Discovery is excited to announce the details for our 2026-2027 FIRST LEGO League (FLL) student robotics team. With this being the final season of the FLL program, the competition is sure to be fierce, so students in grades 5-8 are invited to apply right away!
Our FLL robotics team will get hands-on with the amazing Spike Prime robot as they tackle a variety of coding challenges. This year’s theme is BIOGLOW, which will allow the team to experience the vibrancy of the world’s ecosystems.
Program details:
- Grades: 5-8
- Meeting Dates: Wednesdays, September 9-November 18
- Meeting Times: 4:30-6:30pm
- Fee: $480 (Registration fee includes LEGO kits, the technology to support robotics builds, any additional equipment or materials necessary, team registration fees, team coach, and weekly instruction time)
- Drop-Off Location: CU Science Discovery
The competition will take place the weekend after the class concludes. Details will be provided once they're made available from FLL.

This interest form will close on Sunday, August 30, 2026, and all applicants will be notified of their status by Wednesday, September 2, 2026. Please do not call or email regarding application status – all applicants will be emailed regarding their status.
