Welcome to CU Science Discovery,
a science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education outreach program at the University of Colorado Boulder. Science Discovery manages programs that engage K-12 students and teachers in STEM and connect public audiences with the STEM research happening here at CU Boulder. Science Discovery programs utilize CU scientific expertise, equipment, resources and faculty, graduate and undergraduate students in order to provide participants with unique, experiential STEM learning experiences.
School day-off and holiday classes offer quality, engaging STEM programs on most BVSD days off. These full-day programs offer the same benefits of a traditional summer or afterschool program but in a more condensed time frame. Encourage your child to invite a friend and get registered today!
Are you looking for the perfect hostess gift? Or maybe something for the sister-in-law who has everything? CU Science Discovery has a collection of personalized gift items that will make your gift giving a breeze! Our master makers are ready to personalize your gifts in ways that make them extra special for your loved ones in celebration of holidays, birthdays, anniversaries or just because.
The CU and Boulder County communities came together in a big way to support a toy and book drive benefiting those impacted by the Marshall Fire. We've compiled a few highlights of the incredible donations we received, the amazing volunteers that gave their time, and heartfelt words of gratitude from donation recipients. Many thanks to those who worked alongside us to make this happen for the families who needed it most!
Are you looking for a way to get involved and be a part of something meaningful this semester? CU Science Discovery is looking for people interested in working with K-12 students and teachers as STEM Education Mentors, paid Instructors or paid Teaching Assistants. If you're geeked about STEM education and want to share that enthusiasm with others, apply today!
