AnaSilveira Nedochetko

Ana Nedochetko is a MA student in Religious Studies program. She has a BA in Law School and a MA in Political Philosophy in Brazil. She has been studying and practicing Buddhism since she was 16 years old and engaged in solitary retreats since then. After completing the MA in Philosophy, she dedicated two years volunteering and doing retreats in Buddhist Communities in both Brazil and the United States. Her research in the Religious Studies Program at UC Boulder focuses on gender in Buddhism. Her interest is in uncovering and uplifting the voices of women who have contributed to the spread of Buddhism by building on the work of modern and historical Buddhist feminist scholars. During her free time, she likes to dance.
