Deborah Whitehead presented a paper entitled "Reflections on the Ethics and Aesthetics of Religion in a New Media Age" at the International Conference on Digital Religion, held at CU January 12-15, 2012, and hosted by the Center for Media, Religion, and Culture. She is a faculty member of the CMRC's Finding Religion in the Media Project research group.
