Bio

Tamara Milbourn has a PhD in Education and has 25+ years of experience in multi- and cross-cultural communication settings as well as 10+ years of experience teaching academic writing at the university level. In addition to teaching writing and rhetoric to undergraduates at the PWR, she has taught graduate classes on ESL/EFL pedagogy and English grammar. Her scholarship generally focuses on exploring and understanding classroom environments, especially as experienced by university instructors and multilingual international students. She has traveled to all 50 states and over 50 countries as well as worked in Taiwan, Japan, Benin, and China.
