Bio
Lonni Pearce has a PhD in Rhetoric, Composition, and the Teaching of English from the University of Arizona. Much of Dr. Pearce's research stems directly from her teaching and administrative work in the PWR, such as her research on student wellbeing, programmatic assessment, and models of hybrid courses. In addition, Dr. Pearce's research includes areas of rhetorical theory related to medical rhetoric, consumer culture and and sustainability. She is also interested in Science, Technology, and Society (STS) studies and the rhetoric of science, particularly public representations of science in mainstream media.
