Bio

Kaley King holds an MFA in Creative Writing and Poetics from the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics at Naropa University, where the continuous ritual of returning to the page gives the spirit space to speak. She teaches writing at Naropa and CU Boulder, tending to emerging voices and the wild terrain of words. As the Coordinating Administrator of the Naropa Writing Center and a consultant at CU Boulder’s Writing Center, she guides writers through the labyrinth of their own writing processes. Kaley is also the founder of Sweet Scriptorium — a quiet sanctuary where stories find shape and writers come home to their words. Beyond writing, Kaley enjoys film and tv, painting, and nature walks with her dog, Onyx.
