Bio
David Chu is a Lecturer in the Program for Writing and Rhetoric. He earned his PhD in Classics from the University of Colorado at Boulder in Spring 2025. His research and teaching interests include ancient rhetoric, the ancient Greek and Roman worlds, ancient theatre, and how rhetoric is used to shape and express cultural identities, anxieties, and norms. Outside of academia, he is an amateur pastry chef, avid reader, DnD fanatic, and overly proud cat dad.
