Dan Leamen

Dan Leamen trained in Practical Aesthetics at The Atlantic Acting School in New York City and studied Shakespearean acting with members of the Royal Shakespeare Company through the Actor’s Community in the UK. Along with teaching for the Program for Writing & Rhetoric, he has also taught in the English Department and the Herbst Program for Engineering, Ethics & Society at CU. His previous teaching experience includes the Colorado School of Mines, Rutgers University, and the University of Glasgow. He's toured nationally and internationally as a performance poet, with shows across the U.S., Canada, and Germany. He's also a screenwriter and actor with a passion for sci-fi, epic fantasy, compelling, character-driven drama, and goofball/screwball comedy.
