PWR Creative Nonfiction Awards Deadline: March 1

All student creative nonfiction works from 2024 up to 3/1/25 are eligible.

The PWR has two award categories for CNF:

• First-Year CNF
• Upper-Division CNF

In both, we accept personal narrative, memoir, lyric essay, creative argument, literary journalism, etc.

The entry form and descriptions of all PWR contest categories can be found on the PWR’s Student Resources page.

Note: student authors from your spring 2024 classes must have been enrolled in fall 2024 and/or be enrolled in spring 2025 to enter. Without AY 2024-2025 enrollment, the PWR can’t disburse funds to them if they win.)
