Sierra Weirens

Sierra is a master's student in the Geological Sciences department advised by Professor Shemin Ge. Her research focuses on better understanding the groundwater connection between glaciers and streams in mountain watersheds. Sierra graduated from Smith College in 2023 with a degree in Geosciences and worked for the National Park Service Water Resources Division developing a data visualizer with discrete and continuous NPS long-term monitoring data.
