Parth Modi is a PhD student at the University of Colorado Boulder in Civil, Environmental, and Architectural Engineering. His current research focuses on identifying alternatives to snow-based streamflow predictions to advance future drought predictability and address the challenges associated with water supply planning. He graduated from Virginia Tech in 2020 with a master's degree in Biological Systems Engineering, where he focused on evaluating the impacts of climate change on hydrological cycle in the Chesapeake Bay watershed and flood inundation along the Susquehanna River. Besides his research, he likes to play cricket, go on hikes and cook his mom's evergreen recipes.
