Nicholas Guthro is a second-year Ph.D. student at the University of Colorado Boulder in Civil, Environmental, and Architectural Engineering, working with Prof. Aditi Bhaskar in the Hydro Urban Bhaskar Research Group. His research focuses on quantifying the effects of urban irrigation and landscape change on residential water usage in arid and semi-arid regions. Nick graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a BS in Environmental Engineering, where he completed a research project that modeled snowmelt infiltration into frozen soils. Outside of research, he enjoys skiing, traveling, baseball, and movies.
