Andrew Q. Philips is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Colorado Boulder. He received his Ph.D from Texas A&M University in 2017. He has published over two dozen articles on topics ranging from methodology to political economy to gender and politics, as well as a 2023 Cambridge University Press book on the political economy of budgeting. His methodological interests include time series, panel data, compositional data and machine learning.
