Fabian Neuner

Fabian Guy Neuner is an Associate Professor of Political Science and a Faculty Fellow in the Institute of Behavioral Science. He specializes in political psychology and political behavior, studying how citizens process political information and why voters support populist politicians in the United States and comparative contexts. His research has appeared in the Journal of Politics, Political Behavior, Public Opinion Quarterly, Perspectives on Politics, and the Journal of Experimental Political Science, among others, and has been supported by the Russell Sage Foundation and the U.S.-Japan Foundation.

Prior to joining CU Boulder, Neuner was an Assistant and Associate Professor at Arizona State University's School of Politics and Global Studies. He earned his Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Michigan, an M.Phil in Politics from the University of Oxford, and a B.Sc. in European Politics, Society and Economics from the University of Birmingham.
