Bri Gonzales

Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Bri received their BA in English from Texas State University and was a proud member of the Bobcat Marching Band. After graduating, Bri moved to Colorado and earned their MFA in Creative Writing at the University of Colorado Boulder.
Bri worked at CU Boulder and Front Range Community College as a Creative Writing and Composition instructor. They're always excited to collaborate with students, hear about their life experiences, and support their journeys in academia and beyond.
Outside of advising, you can find Bri playing D&D, writing, researching vampires, obsessing over new metal bands, and binge-watching slasher movies. They are the author of A WELLNESS CHECK, a hybrid poetry collection that puts prescription pads and glitter pens in the parodied-hands of Gotham's Dark Knight.
