Giada Bedendi

Giada is a postdoctoral researcher in the Chemistry Department at CU Boulder, where she focuses on developing innovative biohybrid systems that couple nanocrystals with redox enzymes. Her work sits at the intersection of nanotechnology and biochemistry, aiming to create functional systems with applications in energy and catalysis. Outside the lab, she enjoys staying active through hiking and running, often taking advantage of Colorado’s scenic landscapes. She also has a passion for backpack traveling, embracing the freedom and spontaneity it offers, whether that means discovering remote trails, immersing herself in new cultures, or finding the next great diving spot off the beaten path.
