Eve Wesson is a licensed clinical social worker and started with OVA in August 2017. Eve received her BA in Psychology from Skidmore College. Prior to graduate school, Eve worked at the Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Institute at McLean Hospital, a residential treatment facility where she provided direct clinical care and coached individuals through their activities of daily living. She then went on to receive her Masters in Social Work from Smith College School for Social Work. During her graduate work, Eve worked with veterans with chronic mental illness in an outpatient treatment center at a Veteran Affairs Hospital and with at risk adolescents leading psycho-ed processing groups and offering individual therapy for middle and high students. Since graduating, Eve completed a two-year post masters fellowship at CU Boulder’s Counseling and Psychiatric Services providing individual therapy, group therapy, crisis intervention, and behavioral health services.

While at CAPS, Eve cemented her love with working with college and graduate students. In May 2017, Eve completed the Colorado Victim Assistance Academy training through the Colorado Organization for Victim Assistance (COVA). She has training in psychodynamic, relational, CBT, mindfulness and Motivational Interviewing therapy models for both individual and group work. Eve is dedicated to working with diverse populations to provide trauma-informed care and offering a healing space to be seen, heard and accepted.
