Check-In
Check in for TSO behind the University Memorial Center, outside of the Cristol Chemistry & 
Biochemistry Building to pick up name tags for you and your guests.

10-10:15 a.m.

Welcome
We'll welcome you to campus and share an overview of what you and 
your student can expect during Transfer Student Orientation.

10:15-11:00 a.m.

HUMN 150

On-Campus Living
If you're living on campus this fall—in a residence hall or Bear Creek Apartments—we'll provide 
important details about move-in and what to expect from on-campus living.

10:15-11:00 a.m.

CHEM 140

Off-Campus Living
If you're living off campus this fall, we'll cover transportation options to campus, nearby neighborhoods 
and the resources available to support you while you're here.

11-11:30 a.m.

Student Panel
Learn from current students about their experience transitioning to CU Boulder.

11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

UMC Alferd Packer Grill

Transfer Student Essentials & Lunch
New Student & Family Programs will provide information all about transfer student resources 
and ways of getting connected in your first year on campus.

You'll also have time to grab lunch at the Alferd Packer Grill in the UMC. 

1 p.m.

Dismissal to Advising Locations
We will meet back in CHEM 140 at 1 p.m. sharp to walk you to your advising location for the afternoon. 
BE ON TIME! Don't forget to bring your laptop, tablet or phone with you to use for class registration.

1-5 p.m.

Locations vary

Academic Advising and Registration (Students only)
Meet with advisors from your academic college, school or program to learn more about the requirements 
for your major and make a plan for your course schedule. Then register for your Fall semester classes.

Everyone will be done with this process at different times. Once you have finished registering for classes, 
you're officially done with Orientation. Travel home safely, and we'll see you in the fall!

1:10-2 p.m.

Know Before They Go (Families and guests only)
Join New Student & Family Programs to learn about your student’s transition to 
CU Boulder and how to support them through their first semester.
