"My husband and I grew up in South Africa and this meal always gives us fond memories of our life growing up. Boboti is a well-known South African dish from the Cape province consisting of fruity and spiced ground beef baked with an egg based topping and served with a yellow rice. Due to its unusual flavour combinations, it is not an instant hit with young kids BUT if you persevere, it will definitely become a household favourite. This is a must with all our family gatherings. This particular recipe originates from my high school centennial cookbook of tried and tested family recipes." - Carine Schultz
