Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 5 1/3 tbls unsalted butter
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 cup mashed very ripe banana
  • 1/2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts

Directions

  • Have all ingredients at room temperature.
  • Preheat the oven to 350*
  • Grease an 8 1/2 x 4 1/2" loaf pan.
  • Whisk flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder.
  • In a separate large bowl, beat on high speed until light in color and texture, 2-3 minutes: butter and sugar.
  • Beat in the flour mixture until blended.
  • Gradually beat in eggs.
  • Fold in until just combined: banana and nuts
  • Scrape batter into the pan and spread evenly.
  • Bake until toothpick inserted comes out clean, 50-60 minutes.
  • Let cool on a rack for 5-10 minutes before unmolding to cool completely on rack.
  • Serve up and enjoy the goodness!
