Ingredients
Yields 12 servings

  • 1 pound pecan halves
  • 4 tbls salted butter
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
  • Place pecan halves on a cookie sheet, spread evenly on the pan.
  • Place pats of butter on pecan halves.
  • Sprinkle salt all over the pecans.
  • Place pan into oven and bake for 10 minutes, then stir and turn the pecans.
  • Cook another 10 minutes. Check frequently to make sure that they do not burn.
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool.
