Ingredients
Yields: 6 dozen

  • 1/2 pound butter, softened
  • 2 c. hand grated sharp cheese
  • 2 c. sifted flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper, or to taste (too hot for me.)  More like 1/4 tsp.
  • 2 c. Rice Krispies
  • 1-2 c. chopped pecans

Directions

  • Cream butter and cheese. Add flour, salt and pepper. Stir in cereal and pecans by hand. Shape into small balls and place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten each ball with a fork. Bake 300 degrees for 20 minutes. Store tightly covered. Freezes well.
