CU Boulder Student Send-Offs
Students and families are invited to join us at Student Send-Offs across the country hosted by alumni, parents and friends of CU Boulder. Student Send-Offs are an opportunity to start building Buff connections in your local community before you even arrive to campus. These events are a chance to meet fellow new students and families, share your Buff pride and celebrate the start of your CU Boulder journey!
Register for a Send-Off by July 7!
Please note that some locations have limited capacity, and registration may close prior to July 7.
What to Expect
Student Send-Offs are hosted at parks, local restaurants or the homes of alumni in the area. These events are completely informal with no set agenda. The purpose is to connect incoming Buffs and their families with their local Buff communities, as well as get answers to questions you might have before attending CU Boulder in the fall. Each event will have alumni and staff from the Division of Student Life and Alumni Association, prepared to answer any questions or address any concerns you might have.
If a Student Send-Off is hosted at someone’s home, you will receive the host’s exact address in a “know before you go” email the week of the event.
Events will offer light refreshments.
