Buff Family Q&A: Family Weekend moments

We asked Buff families to share their favorite moments from Family Weekend - read their responses below. Check out this year's Family Weekend schedule and don’t forget to register by Sept. 16!
"Spending time with my son, decorating and organizing his dorm, meeting his RA and friends in his hall, attending his intramural soccer game, eating at the C4C, joining his friends at The Buff for breakfast, and walking all over campus.”
"All the opportunities to talk and connect with parents and other students. We found the luncheon, reception, Stampede, tailgate and football game to be the most memorable.”
"It was great spending time with our daughter, which was the most important thing for us since we live in California! We went hiking while she was in class and we all went to the football game together.”
"We have a senior and we come every year. We love the Stampede on Friday night and look forward to that every year. This year, we attended our first laser show at Fiske. That was really fun. Wish we’d done that years ago and had made that a tradition, too.”
"Just being in the same environment as my daughter and meeting all her new friends both in the dorm and in her sorority.”
"Other than spending time with my student, the information sessions I attended were very helpful and informative for an out of state parent. I also loved the Stampede and getting to attend our first Buffs football game!”
"The Fun Run was great. Well organized, helpful students. A great chance to see some of the historic, beautiful parts of campus. Plus, it helped a great cause.”
"Simply having my student show us things on the campus.”
