Welcome to Spring 2017

Here are some upcoming reminders for the next semester:
Marinus Smith Awards
The Marinus Smith Award is given to CU Boulder faculty or staff who embody our campus values and contribute to quality education and experience for students. Students are encouraged to nominate persons that they believe contribute to the greater good of the CU Boulder community! Nominate a professor
Scholarships
While students are beginning to face more responsibilities as they return to classes, they should still be thinking ahead. CU Boulder provides a variety of scholarship resources to students to help them fund their education. Encourage your student to apply and remember to fill out their FAFSA! Find scholarships
Off-Campus Housing Fair
The office of Off-Campus Housing & Neighborhood Relations hosts a housing fair each spring semester to bring local properties and vendors to students. Join them on February 22 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to learn about local housing options and have a chance to win a free TV! Learn more about off-campus housing
Family Weekend 2017
Already looking forward to your next visit to Boulder? Be sure to save the date for Family Weekend at CU Boulder! This year's family weekend programming will take place from October 5-8. Stay tuned for updates in May and get ready for a great time supporting the Buffs! More info about Family Weekend
In October, New Student & Family Programs reached out to CU Boulder families for recipe submissions. We were looking for those “signature” family recipes. The ones that families make again and again and are sure they’re always on the menu when their student comes home for the weekend or a break.
In December, 17 recipes were chosen to be featured during the Winter Bash in the Center for Community and Sewall Dining Center! We have compiled the recipes into a cookbook to share. You can find it here.
Didn't submit a recipe for Taste of Home? Consider sharing a favorite family recipe with your student this month to help brighten up the cold, dark days of winter.
