As an exchange student at CU Boulder, you will find a wide range of academic disciplines available to you.  Some exchange programs are specifically designed for a certain area of study, such as law or music. Most programs, particularly for undergraduates, are open within the college or school to which the student has been accepted. Exchange students are usually accepted into the College of Arts and Sciences, sometimes to the College of Engineering and Applied Science, the Program in Environmental Design, or the Leeds School of Business and Administration. Students are not accepted to Music, Law, or Education unless the exchange program is specifically designed for law or music students.

If you are accepted to the College of Arts and Sciences, you will select courses from the catalog taught within that college. In some cases, if you have the appropriate academic background, you may also be able to take courses in other CU Boulder schools and colleges.
