Currently a Graduate Student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences (8/2022) ~~~ Brief Bio: Clark Zimmerman joined the Oceans and Climate Lab in the spring of 2021. Funded by the CU Boulder UROP Program, Clark will conduct research on sound propagation in the ocean from tidal turbines, including how climate change will impact sound propagation by way of downscaling changes in temperature and salinity from the latest generation of global climate models using a high-resolution sound model developed by MIKE. This work is also in collaboration with graduate student Gabriella Pagliuca. Clark plans to continue this line of research into the 2021/22 academic year toward a senior thesis. Clark is majoring in Physics at CU Boulder.
