NVC Newsletter - NVC Special Competitions

Since its inception in 2009, the New Venture Challenge (NVC) program and competitions have been known as CU Boulder’s entrepreneurial “flight simulator.” Join us this March for our two special competition prize nights, where you can see some of the best new ideas and ventures coming out of CU Boulder, leading up to our final competition in April.

Female Founder Competition Prize Night

Wednesday, March 8, 6-7:30 p.m.

Imig Music Building, CU Boulder Campus

NVC teams with founders who identify as female will be competing for funding at our NVC Female Founder Prize Night! There will be a live pitch session where teams will present to a panel of judges. Winners will receive a share of $10,000 in prize money! Come support these teams and commune with CU Boulder student, faculty and staff entrepreneurs. Free food will be available.

Climate Competition Prize Night

Thursday, March 9 at 6-7:30 p.m.

Google, 2930 Pearl St Boulder, CO 80301

NVC teams competing in our Climate Prize Night have a venture that tackles pressing climate change issues. Winners will receive a share of $10,000 in prize money! There will be a live pitch session where teams will present to a panel of judges. Come support these teams and network with CU Boulder students, faculty and staff entrepreneurs. Free food will be available.

COVID vaccination is required for this event
The Google events and facilities team will check attendees' COVID vaccination status before admittance to this event. All attendees and competitors must show a physical government-issued ID and either a picture, photocopy or physical proof of vaccination. Learn More
