There is no longer required paperwork for students whose only major in Arts & Sciences is Math.  If you have a different primary major in A&S, or if you are in a different college, you will need to follow the policies for your primary department/college.  If your primary advisor asks for a Statement of Major Status (SMS) or a Minor Completion Form (MCF) from Math, you will need to schedule an appointment with your Math advisor.

All students must fill out an online graduation application, accessed through myCUinfo.

May 1st April Last day of classes for Spring semester
August 1st April (May program) Last day of classes for Summer terms
December 1st November Last day of classes for Fall semester

*or the next working day if this date falls on a weekend or holiday



The CU-Boulder campus holds commencement in May; there is no commencement ceremony in August or December.  The Math Department holds a ceremony/reception in May only.

Students who apply to graduate in August will automatically be included in the May commencement ceremony.

Participation in a commencement ceremony in no way implies completion of a degree!
