PEAC 2024 Dates and Deadlines
Required Materials
For the Applicant:
You must have ONE completed recommendation submitted by the deadline date. We ask that your recommendations come from your high school teachers, counselors, or any other academic advisors who can speak to your academic capabilities, as well as the unique talents and strengths you have to offer to the community.

For the Teacher/Advisor:
Every summer the Miramontes Arts & Sciences Program (MASP) invites highly motivated incoming first year students to the Program for Excellence in Academics and Community (PEAC) for four weeks. The PEAC curriculum focuses on intensive university-level material, giving underrepresented and first-generation college students an opportunity to form a strong community while being introduced to material and concepts that will serve them during their first year and beyond. PEAC is tailor-made for students who want to spend part of their summer participating in a challenging academic experience.
