From Amelia

Hi how are ya?
Madi Baca, I’m not really sure how to piece together my thoughts and feelings about us graduating because it doesn’t seem real to me. I’m so thankful for the memories that we’ve made these past four years together. I’m so glad I met you that first day of PEAC, you were my first friend and are still my best friend that I can count on no matter what. You have been my resource for advice and guidance and you have never faulted in your care and attentiveness. I’m so lucky to have you as my best friend and I’m so excited to see what you do these next few years on your way to medical school. You amaze me with your charisma and never-failing desire to succeed while being such an amazing friend no matter what is on your plate. I’ll miss the days we spent together on my roof basking in the sun or just being there together when we needed it most watching Jeffree Star and Shane Dawson videos. You challenge me every day to be a better friend and person and I’m thankful for you giving me the inspiration to be my true self. I couldn’t imagine going through college with anyone but you by my side and I will always be thankful for the compassion and love that you have shown me in these short 4 years. Madi, you’re going to do amazing things, I can’t wait to watch you do what you love and I know we will have each other through it all.
