Future Plans: I have plans to travel after graduation and then return back to school to receive a Masters

Advice for younger MASPians: “Life is too short to spend a moment stressing about what the future holds. So let it go. Travel. Be with people you love. Don’t waste a moment. As in the words of my favorite quote, ‘river know this: there is no hurry, we shall get there someday—Winnie the Pooh’”
From Arian
Janielle Burrage,
Thank you for everything. I know that that’s a broad statement, but I don’t know how else to put it. You have been there to guide and support me since the first day of RA training, you’ve broken out in song and dance with me any time any place, and you have shown me the importance of being vulnerable and standing up for yourself and others. Over the course of this year, you have truly inspired me in so many ways.
Along with that, you encompass everything an individual needs in order to be successful and make a lasting impact on the world. Within your role of Resident Advisor, your internship with Kaiser Permanente, and your membership in NRHH and MASP, you have continuously shown what genuine, strong leadership looks like and how much effort must be put in to reach your goals. I admire the way you’ve represented CU, but especially the way you’ve always represented yourself and your personal values. I know, without a doubt, that you will take part in even greater things, in your near future.
Lastly, I know this year wasn’t how you dreamed it would be. I know there were many obstacles you faced and pushed through to get to where you are today. I pray that no matter where life takes you, you remember that YOU have the power to take on anything. Remember to give yourself the credit you so greatly deserve.
Sincerely,
Arian Noe (a.k.a daughter)
